Welcome to Beyond Soma. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of info@beyondsomaliving.com (the "Site") and your engagement with services offered by Desi (Despina Kantounis), operating as Beyond Soma ("we," "us," "our"), based in Orlando, Florida. By using this Site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Offered

Beyond Soma offers energy work and Reiki sessions, sound bath sessions, intuitive coaching, and youth-focused programming (including the Somatic Sound Project) delivered in partnership with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations. At this time, all services are arranged directly by inquiry — through the contact form, phone, or email — rather than automated online booking.

2. Not a Substitute for Medical or Mental Health Treatment

Please read this section carefully.

The services offered by Beyond Soma — including Reiki, energy work, sound healing, and coaching — are complementary, holistic practices. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic care. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical or mental health condition.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact 911 or your local emergency services immediately. If you have a medical or mental health condition, please continue working with your licensed healthcare provider — services offered here are intended to complement, not replace, that care.

By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating and that Beyond Soma makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes or results.

3. Eligibility

Adult 1:1 services (Reiki, energy work, coaching) are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. Youth programs are offered exclusively through partnering schools, nonprofits, or organizations, who are responsible for obtaining appropriate parental or guardian consent in accordance with their own policies, unless otherwise agreed in writing between Beyond Soma and the partnering organization.

4. Payment

Payment for sessions is currently accepted via Zelle or Venmo, and is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance. Beyond Soma does not currently store or process credit card information directly.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Because sessions are currently arranged individually by inquiry, cancellation or rescheduling requests should be communicated directly by phone or email as soon as possible. Beyond Soma will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests. A formal refund and cancellation policy may be established in the future; until then, arrangements will be handled on a case-by-case basis at Beyond Soma's discretion. 6. Assumption of Risk & In-Home Sessions

You acknowledge that energy work, Reiki, sound healing, and related practices may involve emotional or physical release, and that individual experiences vary. You agree to participate at your own discretion and take responsibility for communicating any relevant health concerns prior to a session.

Clients agree to disclose any relevant medical conditions, pregnancy, or physical limitations prior to the session so that appropriate accommodations can be made.

Sessions conducted in a client's home are subject to the conditions of that space. Beyond Soma is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage arising from conditions of the client's home or its premises. Clients are responsible for providing a safe, appropriate space for the session (e.g., clear floor space, pets secured if needed).

7. Testimonials & Content

With client consent, Beyond Soma may feature testimonials, quotes, or images on its website or social media. Clients may request removal of their testimonial at any time by contacting Beyond Soma directly.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including but not limited to written content, program materials, curricula (such as the Somatic Sound Project framework), images, and branding — is the property of Beyond Soma and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

9. Organizational Partnerships

For schools, nonprofits, and organizations interested in youth programming, specific terms regarding scope of work, fees, materials sharing, confidentiality, and consent procedures will be addressed in a separate written agreement prior to program delivery.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond Soma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in services offered.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

Beyond Soma may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
